You can sign up to be a patron to easily check books out, get notifications and receive emails about upcoming events. Sign up at the library or call the library to sign up. After you sign up, you will need to create a unique password to secure your account/history. Soon we will be allowing “Holds” to be placed on a book you would like to borrow.

To create your password, follow these simple steps:

Open https://www.libib.com/u/hvlibrary
Move cursor to the top right of the page and click on the “Patron Login”
This will prompt you to enter your email (the one you provided when signing up as a Patron). Then click on “Need Password?”
An email will be sent to you with a password created by LIBIB.
Look for the email (sometimes these types of emails go to a “Junk” folder).
Return to https://www.libib.com/u/hvlibrary and enter your email and the new password.
After you log back on, you will see some new menu items along the top of the screen. Choose Profile and if you want, change your password. (If you don’t see these new menu items, click on the icon in the top right corner.)

Please note that your HV Library account is not associated with any other Heritage Village data or profiles and is managed by the Heritage Village Library volunteers.

The Heritage Village Library is funded completely by donations from residents, friends and the greater community throughout the year. Donations for our Annual Book Sale will be accepted during our regular hours only please. In addition, we welcome donations at other special fundraisers and events. Contributions and gifts can be made to honor a friend, relative or commemorate a special event. Please be generous!
