About Heritage Village

 

Welcome to Heritage Village, the largest active adult community in the northeast. Our spectacular property spans 1,000 acres and is home to over 5,000 residents in beautiful Southbury, Connecticut.

 

Our Village has dozens of Clubs for residents to join. With Clubs ranging from cards and games to the arts and sports, we have something for everyone. If we don’t have it, you can start it! Residents enjoy an art studio, a stained-glass studio, a woodworking and metalworking shop, four private swimming pools, a library, flower and vegetable gardens. Recreation options include golf at nearby courses, hiking, walking, running, tennis, badminton, horseshoes, swimming, pickleball, paddle tennis, ping pong, shuffleboard, billiards, bingo, bocce, bridge, and bowling.

 

Our Activities Department plans a full complement of events and trips to take advantage of our location ideally situated between New York and Boston. Enjoy a day at the New York Botanical Garden or an afternoon at Tanglewood with Yo Yo Ma. Stay close to home with Make Music Day or Jukebox Bingo right here at the Village.
